Meet Our Family

Rob
Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Spiritual Leader, Realtor

I am this person on the left.~Rob
This man is my all day giggle and cause to smile.

He is a great dad and granddad who makes time for everyone. Whether he playing with our grandson, putting together endless toys while the intended paces asking if it is almost done, leaving little encouraging notes, climbing every play structure the girls find, building block kingdoms, or going on countless theme park rides, including the pink elephants, he does it all with a smile. I am grateful our children and grandchildren have this guy to look up to. He leads our family with an unmistakable passion, reverence and love for God that permeates everything he does. ~ Dagney

Dagney
Wife, Mom, Grandma

This lady is my best friend in the entire world. She is an awesome wife, mother and grandmother in every way imaginable. She is an amazing encouragement to everyone she encounters, especially me. With an incredible passion to serve everyone in her path, Dagney is always there to help anyone and everyone that she has time for during her busy days. Beyond everything that she does on a daily basis to keep things rolling here at home, she is also an amazing woman of God and mentors those that need help along the way. Our family is definitely blessed to have her in our lives. ~ Rob

I am a Disciple of Christ, wife, homeschooling mom, Grandma and creative cook for my allergy sensitive kiddos. I love my country and exploring it with my family. I am also a highly allergic cat lover. I know somebody relates. Pictures of my tiny tiger to follow. :) ~Dagney

Robert II
Son

He was our first! Raising this guy has been quite a blessed journey. He has an awesome heart to serve, teach and help others. He was leading Bible Studies that he organized since his early teens and by his late teens had led Sunday service at local churches. He also organized the youth in our area to help the elderly with errands and home maintenance. He loves being outside discovering what is over the next hill, under the next rock and in that water... Warning, he may chase you with it. He accepts nothing at face value & not only see things for how they are, but digs to find out why. This has been a huge blessing to our family. He is also very gifted at making jewelry, fishing and cooking... His talents know no bounds. :)

She loves cooking, making up her own recipes and is a published author! She writes and illustrates books geared towards children. You can most often find her with her head buried in a book or bouquet.

Elizabeth
Daughter

This girl was a welcome surprise and blessing. After 14 years of hoping and praying we had stopped expecting until I got a bit queasy... This girl was my easiest pregnancy. 100 percent lady from the start. She rarely kicked and as long as I ate small meals, nausea was practically absent. She is always quick to help or comfort and so much fun. She is also a little momma. She loves children, baby dolls and looking after her nephew. A very girly girl, she has done her own hair since she was around 7 and digs through her jewelry looking for her "finishing touches." Throughout the day we hear her singing like her Grandma Elizabeth. Grandma and Grandpa were opera singers so we won't discourage that. Though mom isn't with us anymore, it is sweet to see that spirit alive and well in the next generation. She absolutely loves riding horses, dancing, fishing, hiking, reading, riding her bike and creating art.

Margaret
Daughter
Our final personal installment, we think... This sweet girl was our biggest surprise. I was packing up Elizabeth's baby things for one of Robert's friends, as they were having children of their own, and as I put the last box by the door I suddenly felt queasy. Hmmm. I was 41. Elizabeth was rounding 5, couldn't be, but it was. Elizabeth had been praying for a little sister and God had answered her prayer with Margaret Faith and we are so grateful. She is our firecracker. She had a rough start with medical complications, but by the grace of God he pulled her through and by a couple of months old she was completely restored with no medical intervention. The doctors just watched and monitored her with great joy as our sweet girls body rallied to robust health. She is the most frequent visitor at our all day diner, frequently still chewing when she is looking for her next course. She is also the negotiator. Frequently the girls will want something and the negotiator approaches with wide hand gestures and explanations. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up, but we are thinking lawyer.
